Language Learning Lab

Welcome!

The Language Learning Lab (LLL) at San Diego State University studies word learning and language processing in school-aged children with typically developing language and children with language impairment.

We use a combination of behavioral and brain measures (EEG) to examine the processes involved in language.

Using these methods, we aim to uncover what influences the language difficulties in children with language impairment and, eventually, inform clinical practices with these children.
